Trent Bridge ashes win number 1.

Brilliant game, interesting from the outset to the finish, and oh so close in the end.

Ian Bell and Jimmy Anderson probably edged it for England.

If th erest of the series is anywhere near as exciting we are in for a real treat.

This was the most unpredictable test I've ever seen - terrific  -  Bell made it possible after Agar made a game of it    Anderson wrapped it up in fine style - Glen Mcgrath reckons 'he can bowl a bit' .........while Finn has probably blown it for a while
Integrity is non negotiable

Broad's refusal to 'walk' when clearly out :o was disgusting; he's been watching too much football. :-\      Both he and Finn should be dropped for the 2nd Test (for different reasons) and replaced by Onions and Bresnan. O0
There's no B/S on Planet Malc.

Problem is England are playing the Aussies, and for years suffered the cheating nature of the Aussie players getting the edge over them. Because the ICC did not have the way to stop the Aussies, England have done the only thing they could if they want to compete....follow suit. Terrible shame, but that is, again, the reality.
