To be quite honest, I don't know if there are any concessions though it looks like it's being run as a business so I would imagine there are.

I know I introduced the subject of charges at the Think Tank, but it's not really on subject so can we not focus on the charges any more.
Phil died in 2020. RIP.

Birmingham Science Museum the place we all spent a lot of our time at for free when we were young is no longer there. They built the Think Tank at Millennium Point on Curzon Street to replace it. You can go along anytime you like, it will only cost about £12 if you are an adult on about £8 if you are between 3 and 15, yes you are an adult at 15 now.

Phil and Dennis,

Like you, I enjoyed the Science Museum every single time I went and that was pretty often - if there'd been an entry fee, the school trip would've been my only visit.

1960s
There has been a lot of slagging off and ridicule of the 1960's Bull Ring, especially by those in the South. But it was so fresh and unique in its day, unlike anything any other city had. Birmingham was an exciting place to live with new developments popping up every other week, or so it seemed.

The trouble was, it was a bit too fashionable and quickly went out of fashion. And just like flaired trousers and feather cut hairstyles it was soon laughed at.

I also like the new Bull Ring, hopefully this will not be out of date in 20 years.  ???
