loved the picture of the Rose and Crown, we still live in Rubery. does anyone remember The Corn Cob, or is the any pictures of the pub, My mom and dad always drink there...great forum by the way...........cheers guys x

astwood yes went years ago, and they built flats there now, it used to have an outdoor on the side of the pub, remember that ?

I cant remember the outdoor mind you i was allways glued
to the bar those days we use to go everywhere the longbridge
the toby jug the [censored] licky banker etc but my local was the
rose & crown good days they were when there was an
ash tray on every table

Lads I hate to see grown men crying into their beer. Wait until you get to my situation banned from all pubs for life.
Except for special occasions. Good job the clan is breeding well at least I get to celibrate births, christenings, weddings in that order as well sometimes.
