REFRESHING season 2014
« on: January 19, 2014, 05:59:14 PM »
I have just seen a side lose in London. How refreshing to see the arrogance and smugness of so many fans who
think it is a devine right to success all the time. I wonder if there are some other sports fans who are enjoying this general focus of change i.e seven defeats in the Premier League and the captain sent off!

Good to see Blues Villa and Albion survive in Blues case by the skin of their teeth. Pleased to see Wolves climb into the Championship. But I think that all four will need to improve their squads unless this happens you can see Blues Villa and Albion struggling again next season. At least Villa have Bentekke's return to look forward to.
It would great to think that a Midlands club could compete for honours but sadly next season again the Premiership looks to be heading North or to London.
Will Man U be able to regroup in time for next season?  I would like to think so and I would love to see Liverpool to mount another assault if only because of Brendan Rogers' efforts. Still we have the World Cup to look forward to. I would love England to be successful but it will be a struggle and for anyone to beat Brazil on their own muck heap will take a bit of doing, but we live in hope.
