No ones mentioned the 44 ran from town to Acocks Green/olton border, then later exstended up Lincoln road. Now it can be found running round Weoly Castle.

Correct, I've driven a few trips on that one, City Centre to Lincoln Road North (Clay Lane/The Vineries) O0 late 70s to late 80s.

Service 59 was one of the three Walsall Road routes (the others were 51 and 52).   The 59 I recall served Booths Farm, and I recollect that is was around October 1986 (or later date)  when it got merged with service 52 (Which served Perry Beeches).
Services 51/52/59 were introduced by Birmingham City Transport to replace services previously operated by Midland Red (I think the date was around 1959).
I used visit an Aunt at the Beeches Midland red no 118 as I recall and a front entrance  double decker.

Can you name all the Birmingham bus routes and their numbers from one to I think I seen a bus with 96 on it. But I don't think there are 96 bus routes in Birmingham but I might be wrong.
I think i'm doing this right as its just a bit of fun and something to do.

I will start with number one Moseley College arms.
Next number 2
29  29a to great barr  33  to the  kings Rd  by charliepu  8 inner circle 11 outer circle  5 to  town 6 went  further on and  came back  as a 7 also the 107 from sutton down college road
