Hi Terry  -  I also lived in Francis St. and Ashted Row,circa 1948 to 1962,No's 82 and 102.I went to Loxton St. School through juniors and seniors.

Welcome to the forum, if you look at the Nechells, Vauxhall, Duddeston & Saltley thread on The Old Birmingham board you will find many photos of Ashted Row and the surrounding area. You will even see a photo index for most of the photos on the thread as it is quite long. I lived at 190a Francis Street across the road from the rear of Middleton Builders.
