Hi, I'm looking for descendants of Charles Raymond Organ Cook and Mary (nee Moss). Originally from Bristol the family were living in Birmingham in the 1940s. Charles had been killed in action in WW1 and Mary had remarried George Brocklehurst. When Charles died Mary was left with 6 children the youngest being my Nan, my Mums Mum. The children were Charles, Frederick, Clarice, Tom, William and Lilian. When my nan married Albert, she became Lilian Henn. My mum Eileen was their eldest and in the early 50s they were living in George Street West.
Its the families of my great uncles that I am trying to trace. 2 years ago I took my Mum to Belguim to visit the grave of the grandfather she has never known. We assume that all photos etc. would have passed through the older boys. Would love to know if anyone is still in the Birmingham area. My mum moved to Somerset in the late 50s and my Nan and Grandad followed in the late 60s. Keeping everything crossed. Thanks
