I take it that Remi-A, doesn't visit any more, if he does please contact, One thing I do remember was my mom telling me that Bob Hatch appeared on TV once, (she remembered everything, unlike me) might have been a talent show, anyone with any info please respond.

I posted a long time ago about Bob Hatch and seeing him at the Mackadown pub. But that wasn't him, I think I must have got mixed up with the chap off the tele. Apologies.

Bob Hatch performed his act at our Rugby Club and many others in the mid Sixties. He certainly gave value for money and was invited back several times. Bob sadly died around that time which brought another era to an end.

just been googling this guy after i was given a theatre programme from the Globe Theatre in Stockton, between Darlington and Middlesbro' which he was featured in the line up. The show he appeared in was probably a talent show called 'Bid For Fame' which ran from 56-59...the theatre programme was for the week commencing 8th July 57 (and starred Tommy Steele) so I guess he must have been one of the early winners as he has the side title of 'Bid For Fame Comedy Discovery'.

Hope that's of use  :)

I found this older publicity photo of Bob, when he was a bit younger.

I also saw him at a place where I cant remember, when he was introduced he came out on stage and said nothing for several minutes, and all the folk were just laughing at him, all of a sudden he spoke and and said what are you all laughing at you f........idiots!  Well it was a mens only concert.......DG

Hi Coastal, it has been a long time since on here and I apologise. Maybe you can tell me more or contact me personally. It would be amazing to see and hear more about this.
