Warwickshire Voluntary workers badge

Hi there,
We were having a clearout the other day and found an old enamel badge
it reads "Warwickshire Voluntary worker"
Can some kind person tell me more about it ?

welcome to the site, have you tried www.charity-badges.co.uk   I had a quick look and they have a picture of another one of these on site. If you get in touch with them they have a section dedicated to identifying some of the lesser known badges.

Unfortunatly, no reply.
I have now put it for sale on e-bay , perhaps someone on there may know what it is !

I think the badge was issued to the voluntary workers within Warwickshire N.H.S.
The ladies who run the tea urns and deliver newspapers and library books to the wards.
Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and try to beat you with experience.
