Running in Birmingham
« on: February 21, 2008, 01:44:29 AM »
I'm taking part in the Sports Relief Birmingham Mile, on the 16th of March, for Comic Relief.  The event starts in Centenary Square, at 10am, and I'll be running at 2pm; I'm doing six miles.

I'm also taking part in Race for Life, for Cancer Research UK on the 15th of June.  That's in Cannon Hill Park, starting at 5:30pm, with an hour long warm-up first.  That one's only 5km - just over three miles.

Anyone coming along to watch or taking part in either of those?  The latter is for females only, btw.  Also, are there any other Birmingham runners out there?

Since both are sponsored runs, here are my links; please, don't feel any pressure - I'm just an optimist.
