Original and cheeky, most probably.  Romantic???  I've heard better chat up lines.  Still, he must be going something right; we've been married for 43 years.

Let those that love us, love us. And those that don't, may God turn their hearts. And, if He cannot turn their hearts, May He turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping!- Irish blessing

Jill,

Typical woman think, been on the forum five minutes five minutes and wants to start sorting things out and rearranging everything.  Are you sure you are not my wife in disguise?

Phil and Roy,

Without doubt, Jill will have a rough working knowledge of what it means for a woman to know her dutiful, obedient place in the home.  So let's give her chance on the forum, and show her some of the unwritten but nevertheless treasured and rigorously adhered to, let us not say ''rules'' rather ''values''.  I'll try to set her faltering feet in the right direction with: It's a man thing - doing it right, first time, on time everytime, and underbudget.  Phil is well able to illustrate this with his maps and diagrams of male and female shopping trips......
