Spud,
I forget which firm he came from. In 1968 Fisher & Ludlow were taking on labour for the then new XJ6 and that is where we met, as he lived just along from me he was in Solihull I was having a lift off him. And a couple of times we went to his mums house in Marston Green on the way home. he was into the BMC mini racing and he would be off racing his car most week ends. He was there at F&L for the rest of his working life, I left to go into business in 1979 I did pop back about to say hello a year later and they were all still working there.

No Fred it cannot be the same Brian Cole like me he spent most of his working life at Lucas Aero in Shaftmoor Lane.

I did.    I was originally on Explorer but have also tried Chrome and Firefox.     Some of the Internet Cafe's 42 screens are more forgiving than others, but I haven't found a screen/browser combination that works, yet.

Haven't you though of investing in a device of your own yet, there are some good bargains out there. I have no idea what internet cafes charge but I'm sure that in the long run it would work out cheaper and certainly more convenient.

Nah, going up the Internet Cafe gets me out of the house and puts me into an environment where I can eat proper food. O0

The broken bridge on the river Cole (just).

I'm still tagging many of my old photo's but I came across this interesting one. Anyone remember the 'broken' bridge over the river? It was just a little way up from the Bell pub but not sure how far. We used to go there all of the time.

You can just see it in the top-left corner.

My sister is in the foreground and I'm just by the bank hunting for stickleback. Happy days,

Thanks Gary M Walton, Just caught up on the thread , first time viewing , the photos are wonderful , brought back lots of memories for me , I was born not far from M/Green . as a child we ventured out there in the early 1960s to view the trains and airplanes it was like a day out in the countryside ::)
