Did anyone see that the King Kong statue has resurfaced -

It's currently in Leeds. Will it ever make it's way back here?

I don't think he will be returning anytime soon he is only on loan to Leeds temporary and after the exhibition he is going back to the Maby Family in Penrith to lie in a field once again. Well I suppose it won't rot will it?
A little bit of the history of King Kong and a few photos here,

Did he go dancing in The Locarno every Saturday night. They used to monkey about a lot in there.

Hi Liz
The old Kong statue is now on loan in Leeds from Wolverhampton art gallery.
(Hope this helps your book)
P.s. please let me know when your book comes out.
Kong will come back to Brum eventually.
