Wrong place wrong time?
« on: June 18, 2016, 12:22:31 PM »
Yesterday I was preparing to run in a park in northfield.
Just when I was entering, someone call me and I spent around 3 minutes speaking on the phone.
Meanwhile, several cars stopped and even if I was engaged into conversation, they were asking various things signaling smoking gestures.
One car, with two lads inside, they used the horns and show the middle finger.

I'm still wondering what was the perception they had of someone speaking on phone at an park entrance. 5 cars stopping, one with aggressive gestures, what was that?

Any clues?

(My mini cameo of life in 2016)
Man on phone at Park entrance, yobs making smoking gestures, all points to  what they perceived as a drug dealer and they were signalling what they wanted from him.
The aggressive gesture was possibly because the 'customers' thought the 'drug dealer' was ignoring them.

Personally, I think your scenario fits the scene perfectly.  I couldn't figure out what the smoking gestures were, I'm sure your right.

Birmingham is getting worse, although it's not alone,
That's one of the many reasons I now live in Wales.

You asked the question where should I live, You decided to ignore the suggestions so that's your own fault you were warned.
Was it a vision, or a waking dream?

Reminds me of the time a few years ago when I was waiting for my daughter on a corner.  Cars kept slowing down, stopping and eventually moving on.  They thought I was soliciting, even though I was dressed conservatively and it was not a red light area.
