Bannion/ Ben Wade
« on: June 24, 2016, 03:39:35 PM »
Dear all,

It is with great sadness that I have to report that my grandfather (Bannion/Ben Wade) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 21 June after a short battle with liver cancer.

On behalf of his wife, daughters and myself I wish to thank you all as my grandfather found great pleasure in posting in this forum and was a source of escapism for him during the trying time while he was poorly.

I am sorry that there is no other way for me to communicate this sad news to you all.

I idolized my grandfather and grew up listening to the stories he would tell me about his time in Birmingham and then moving down South. He was a fighter and a rock to me my whole life. He will be greatly missed by all.

Kind regards

Jade
(Ben Wade/ Bannion/ Keith's granddaughter)

Phil

R.I.P Bannion I was only thinking the other day that I hadn't seen you on here for awhile, I thought you may have gone on holiday. But so sad news you will be missed especially on here.

Oh jade, I am so sorry. Ben was sharp and kept me on my toes with making sure I could back up my comments with a reference. He never veered from syphoning truth from hear-say and tales.

You will make that man live on by talking about him to others and sharing his memory regularly with future generations of your family. He deserves it.
