While I'm glad that Moor Street is back operating as a station, those proposals would have made a great alternative if it had been decided not to bring the actual station back into use.

Except that they would have probably all have been leased out at high rents that only shops selling expensive and often pretty useless items at excessive profits could afford , as happens in Covent Garden. That having been said, it would still have been better than demolishing the station. Still, something better happened and the station was retained.

Why oh why can't they just leave things alone, the original Moor St was part of OUR Brummegem which I myself used when travelling to Leamington (I was living on CAD Kineton at the time) like the best part of old Brum its gone forever, if this is what's known as "progress" you can shove it.

Snow Hill and Moor Street bring back lots of memories. I used Snow Hill to get a steam train pulled by a king class engine and at Moor street I would get on a local to Stratford.
Snow Hill was a magnificent station and should never have been demolished.
