diggory as it has been pointed out most of the photos on this forum come from Google. It doesn't matter what thread you go into a lot of the photos  are taken from google. Here's another couple for you of Moor St.

I just get so annoyed that they demolished this & then, just over a decade later, built a new bland version.  No character, no style. just form & function & blah  :P

Not forgetting that they destroyed the old New Street Station, whenever we went into town in the 1950s my dear old Mum would sit with me for a couple of hours while I took train numbers down, the old Birmingham Stations were full of atmosphere, what a wonderful city it was in those days, I very often think how lucky I was to spend my early years in Brum.

Love the pictures Townie posted, I am still a British steam train nut that lives in the past with a model railway.
