Does anyone know when the roadworks around paradise are due to be completed? Obviously the building project is going to take many years but as I understand it the new roads were planned to be opened sometime soon?

Oli3032,
I thought you were going to say something about our country in general which is Paradise you ask the people coming to live here and want to live here.      ;)

The council website says that we are currently in phase 3 of the development & that it will last until 'late 2016'

https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/info/50015/roadworks/500/paradise_redevelopment_works_transport_and_road_closure_information

But then again, the council isn't exactly good at keeping to these schedules - just look at the Metro extension that was originally due to open in September last year & didn't actually start running until May this year...................
