I believe the bus is on Pershore Road by Sir Johns Rd just past the Nature Centre, the tram is a little harder but it could be Soho Rd Handsworth?

It's the junction of High St, Bull St, Albert St, & Martineau St. Though I am still unable to work out the previous tram location. Could it be West Bromwich?

Once you put that copy of the photo up, I knew exactly where it was. Here are another couple of the same location in the junction of Chapel Lane & Bristol Rd.

It's the Railway Inn on Foundry Road, I've always called it Winson Green, but it's Smethwick apparently. It hung on for many years in the backwater that was caused by demolishing all the houses nearby, but it's gone now.
