Instead of relying on memory alone which of late is beginning to fail a little, I decided to look up the correct address of the Railway Inn. Apparently the tram terminus was in Foundry Road, but the pub was on the corner of Wellington St & Vittoria St. Anyway here's a photo of the whole pub as it used to be.

Phil died in 2020. RIP.

No need to look this one up, it's an early photo of Acocks Green Village and from the look of the ground it look like the middle of winter.

           this place was a day trip for some  it seemed like the sea side    its a hard one so that's the clues

fred your spot on well-done it was a hard one the tram used to run from stourport to kiddy and it used to turn round in front of the seven Vally railway station on comperton  hill  the hill you see in the photo I walk up that hill two or three times aweek

I did say for some it was a day out  I think I was about 7or 8 and we went on a day trip with the school in the old sharabang

I think it was  paid for by our labour friend  but I can not remember why we went to stourport
