Now this is what I would describe as bland.

I remember that new building going up & being upset at what they demolished to put it there.

Phil I used to love looking at that crow or whatever it is with spectacles on
I wonder if it still exists somewhere, in some collection or other.  Would make a great museum piece now.

We are now in Balsall Heath a stones throw away from Calthorpe Park at the Cox Street West end of Clevedon Road. The bomb site behind the two ladies would have been the site of the Parker Osborn factory that was bombed out during the war.

Wow, look at that completely vacant site there - early 60s? Three completely different buildings on that corner.
