Hi there!
« on: October 14, 2016, 01:21:34 AM »
I have recently joined this forum so I thought I would say hello!

Here's a little bit of information about me:

I was born in 1966 at Sorrento Hospital in Moseley and lived in Dolman Street, Nechells until I moved to Hurst Lane, Shard End in the early 70's. I was educated at Hillstone Infants and Juniors, Shard End from 1971 -1977 and Byng Kenrick Central from 1977 -1982. Since getting married at All Saint's Church, Shard End in the late 80's I have lived in Pithall Road, Shard End and Glebe Farm Road, Stechford.  Divorced in the mid 90's I moved to Shard End Crescent, Shard End then Hillcross Walk, Bromford and I now reside in Kitts Green. All the best,

I am TRYING to add photo's but I'm getting a message saying they are too large.  As they are from my PC I can only add them as attachments.  Any suggestions how to put them in my post and make the file small enough so they get accepted?

You can try resizing your  photos to less than 80kb here,

http://webresizer.com/

Or you can use the method laid out here, both are acceptable.

Hi bluebrummie,

I'm not from your neck of the woods but your Mum would have met mine just before you were born.  She was a nurse in the Ante-Natal Clinic at the Sorrento and checked all expectant mothers as they passed through !! :)
