Old Moseley Road Fire Station Birmingham
« on: July 10, 2017, 12:44:04 AM »
I'm hoping someone can please help me. I'm trying to find a picture of the Old Moseley Road Fire Station in the 1950's. My father is turning  60 in a few weeks and I'm doing him a bit of a this is your life type thing. My late Grandfather George Thomas White (Chalkie) served at Moseley Road fire Station in 1957 and my Father Alan Thomas White was born in the Flats that were used by the serving fireman at the time. Unfortunately I'm really unsure of where these flats were all I know that he was born in flat 6. I Would love to include a picture of both the station and the flats.  My Grandfather served in every fire station in Birmingham a served for west midlands fire brigade  for 29 years, if any one can help or has any information it would be a really big help.

Thanks in advance

kind regards Kate  White  :D
