Did anyone ever use this snooker club during the 60's , Rex was often seen strutting up and down twixt the snooker hall and the casino

I've always been as blind as a bat, so a very poor snooker player, but I occasionally popped into the Piccadilly with a mate of mine who was a bit of a hustler and he always came our richer than he was when he went in.

Good for Him Phil, as I'm sure you'll agree the place was always full of hustlers and some sort of shysters , few gangsters as well . I always knew when Johnny Prescott(boxer)  was in the snooker hall , his  silver Volvo was parked outside .He was trying to play snooker
and he always seem to have two dolly birds to distract him . Patsy Manning stuck his head in sometimes , when he wasn't trying to turn the Krays over. Good old days
