I have run into a brick wall for James Cartwright who, according to the 1841 Census, was born abt. 1771. I thought James was born in Warwickshire, but am not sure as to whether there is a Y or N in the born in the county column in the Census. James married Maria (Taylor) Bartholmew in 1822. She was a widow and he was a bachelor. He died in 1847. Age on the death entry is 76.
