now this car was made in England but by who or when or where   I know not

It is a very early Allard possibly 1948/49 but with a body style not listed anywhere in the Allard references I can find.
The front windscreen and pillars and doors and door pillars appear to be from-or based on-a Ford Popular?

That is a beautiful car  :D  Looks like the Allard P1, which would make it 1950 ish

Here is my 1951 Zephyr 6 in 1967, I earned £4 per week as an apprentice and spent £3 a week on petrol, but it was great fun
