Here is my 1951 Zephyr 6 in 1967, I earned £4 per week as an apprentice and spent £3 a week on petrol, but it was great fun
Earlswoodbob, my dad had the zephyr Zodiac model, HRF 442 Reg. Three speed column change, so much torque in the engine it would go around most traffic islands in top gear. Vacuum wipers, large glass bottle for screen wash and head light dip on the floor. We even had one of those flimsy Perspex oval demister panels on the rear screen.
