Castle Bromwich
« on: November 16, 2017, 10:06:31 AM »

I have looked through all the threads on Castle Bromwich but I thought I would start another that actually show Castle Bromwich as it was.

Does anyone remember Victory Hall? This is a photo from 1949. You may be on the photo.

Hello Townie
Great picture. Not able to put names to anyone but the hall was nearly always in use.
Many good memories. Left Castle Bromwich about 1966 to go to Water Orton.
We used to go to groups and dances in the hall.
Keep them coming Townie.
Best wishes
Gerald.

How many times have you walked down this road to Pimple Hill calling at the shop.

I have heard that Fisher & ludlow are on a three day week because sales have dropped. The Jag is the only car produced there now. It will mean there suplyers will have to produce less parts.      :(
