Help needed with an address in Great Russell Street
« on: November 17, 2017, 05:58:45 PM »
Hi all,

Although I am not from Birmingham myself, my mother was and many of her family were. Recently a couple of my mother's sister's postcard albums were found and they contain some interesting family stuff. However, I am struggling to decipher the address on one particular card and was wondering if anyone with more experience of Brum could help me out? I assume the address is a back-to-back and the 'c' stands for Court. But is that a 'H' or 'th' after the 6? Hopefully, an image is attached.

Cheers,

Phil.

The online electoral rolls, only some years being online, show that Ann Ellen and Francis Bentley  Hatton were at no 6 court 4 Gt
Russell St 1920-1930. In 1935 only Anne Ellen was there.
