After Tyburn Road we continue on down Bromford Lane passing a seemingly out of place line of dwellings down to the Wheelwright Road junction and just past there we can see the Stewart & Lloyds factory.

I think photo 34 may be wrongly captioned. The Bromford lane junction is Drews Lane and the petrol station was previously called "Ideal Service Station" when it sold Cleveland fuels, John.

Studying the photo I think you are right, the trouble being I remember the junction of Drews Lane being more like this photo with Rawlings Brothers transport yard being behind the cafe. I didn't get down that way much after the 70's.

The trouble with photos collected off the internet you can never be sure that they are of the location they claim to be, Though as it doesn't make any difference to the route so no harm done.

That dispensing machine, left of centre, I've never seen one of those before. Was it for drinks ?
