Continuing up Lordswood Road the Hagley Road junction comes into view, then with a quick look at the crossroads we turn right onto Hagley road at the Kings Head.

Actually Roy, it looked more like this as it was a colour photo that I changed to black & white so it would blend in better with the rest of the images on the thread. You were pretty close though, the reason it was a different colour bus was because it was one of 20 ex Coventry City bused transferred to Acocks Green depot in 1974.

Well, The Old House at Home has certainly changed. The Kings Head used to have the Continental next to it - that's gone now.... but you can't see it in the pic. I don't remember the coloured buses only the Birmingham Corporation - Cream and blue..... It will be interesting to see if you have pictures of The Talbot before it turns into Barnsley Road!

Turning right on Hagley Road we pass Cranmore Brothers Garage heading toward the New Talbot on the corner of Barnley Road before turning left at the later much changed New Talbot before making our way to the junction of Sandon Road and the church on its corner.
