I remember once while on holiday in Jersey I got talking to an Irish chap who was digging a hole in the road. After chatting for a while I asked him where he was from. Expecting him to reply "Dublin or Cork" or some such place. He replied "Sparkbrook" it turned out that he lived in Gladstone Rd and he even drank in a couple of the same pubs as me.

Hi Anne welcome - I come from six ways Aston moved out 1963 ish glad you like the site
