I don't recall any mens clothing shop in Stafford Street and the Tailor on Bristol Street was probably Kurt Pressburger who was popular in the 60's but I stoppped with Morris as I got a good discount.
Phil died in 2020. RIP.

I made a mistake. It was around 1980 that we shopped at Rackhams.     :-[

chatwins was my shop I remember saving up to buy an overcoat for the winter it took me six pay packs after I had paid my way I come out of work on the Friday night went to the shop to pay the rest for my coat then I took it home on that night I went out with my girl friend who is now my wife we went to the west end cinema  when we come out it was snowing hard so standing waiting for the bus I opened my coat and she got inside and I wrapped it round us she was like toast it was the best over coat I ever had at the time I think it wasŁ12 pound  money well spent
