Wasn't quite sure. It said in post 1905 and 1927. The  online electoral rolls do not go back past 1912. Just in case, I have just looked at the 1912  roll, and there is a Thomas Charles Phelps at 4 spooner St. No 4 is shown in red on thei c1950 map and looks a fair sized house, which might have been given a name for snooty purposes

Thanks mikejee, Phil, & Gerald, for your input.
It seems from your collective info, that Taunton House was not connected to John & Joseph Tuanton, but was just a coincidence that the house in Spooner St had the same name.

There is reference to John & Joseph Taunton in Graces Guide, on line, if anyone is interested.
