Definitely! I've just blown the pic up to full screen and for certain the driver would not have made the corner!

Interestingly, Rabone, in it's day one of the finest makers of hand an measuring tools in the UK, if not the world, whilst one side of the factory fronted Heaton there was no entrance so it must have been on Whitmore St which was probably it's official postal address, the company became part of the Rabone-Chesterman Group.

My F in L was the foreman in the Ruler shop JIM DAY. And my M in L worked in the same shop Louise Wathen
