This will show you just how out of touch I am re The Lyndhurst Estate -
I learned today it was fattened in 2012!
To be replaced by an Abbeyfields Development.
Anyone care to post the current position?

I'd pass the Lyndhurst on the bus on my way home from my job in the city in the late 60s, I remember thinking, I bet there is a fantastic view of the city from the window of the top flat in the tallest block, but a bit scary in a howling gale.

TRIXIE. My I laws lived in CALDER TOWER PERRY BARR on the 13 floor.
Barr Beacon was loverly and you could see the lights and hear the roar if VILLA scored and the City lights where good
