Norman Williams - bookmakers 1940ís+
« on: May 08, 2019, 09:22:54 PM »
looking for anyone whose remembers my grandfather NORMAN WILLIAMS, born in 1924 and lived for a while in ROTTON PARK ROAD amongst other places, I think he also lived in WHITTINGTON, SUTTON COLDFIELD. He was in the Royal airforce but my dad told me he used to run BETTING SHOPS in and around Birmingham as well as getting involved in other money making scams. He was quite a dodgy character so I have been told. He did have a company in 1940ís+ called N. K. WILLIAMS & CO where he would buy and sell all sorts of things.

I never got to know him because he left my dad before he was even born so would love to find someone who knew him and had some stories.

Would love to hear from you
