Balsall Heath Road.
« on: August 29, 2019, 11:37:38 AM »
Do I remember correctly seeing a picture of Balsall Heath Road between the wars.
There was a woman in a long skirt outside the entry to Kensington Gardens.

I think the buildings around it were bombed about the same time as Wenman Street and Gosford Street(?)
And I think a Shirt factory. I remember there being a big concrete reservoir full of water that the council made so there would be water available for the firefighters.

If I remember right can it be published again so that I can download it for a family tree.

Hi Alphonse

Welcome to you, the photo you mention wasn't one of mine as I have checked. If as you say it was posted to this forum then it will still be on here because I cannot ever remember any photos being removed. You could try typing Balsall Heath Road into the search box at the top right of the screen and examine all the results that it brings up.

Yes it is Mike, but I don't thin its the same photo I posted on that thread that Alphonse wants. The one I posted there is much older.
