Dissertation Help!
« on: January 15, 2020, 10:22:47 PM »
Hello! I am a masters student at the University of Birmingham studying Urban and Regional Planning. I am starting to formulate my dissertation idea and am currently thinking of reviewing the role of city centre public realm spaces in promoting/ catalysing/ supporting 'social sustainability'.
I plan to gather user experience data for some key public realm spaces in Birmingham city centre. So far I have chosen East Side City Park and Centenary Square.
Does anyone have suggestions for other public spaces I could gather data for in the city centre? Or does anyone have any expertise/ knowledge regarding public spaces in the city centre that they would be able to share?

Also, if I were to develop a questionnaire or hold some stakeholder engagement 'workshops'/ discussions about perceptions of city centre public space would anybody be interested or willing to take part?

Thanks in advance for any help! Feel free to email/ message me!

Anne :-)
