Coalyard in Sherbourne Rd B.12
« on: January 16, 2020, 12:45:23 PM »
Does anyone have a photo of the coal yard that was in Sherbourne Rd. Balsall Heath B.12, or a map showing it's location in the road, please.

                                                                                                            Thanks.  Malc.

Hi Bob, Thanks for reply. Yes that is the one, it was Turnocks, the name comes back to me now you mention it. Maybe some one will come up with a picture or O.S map.

Long time no see, I still look from time to time for any clues as to where Peter Bates is, but no luck as yet.

Hi Fred, not that I am aware of,  I know he was a teacher, but whether he had other jobs prior to that I have no idea.

Hope you are ok, Fred, thanks for your input.
