I lived in Vincent st from 1947 to 1960. We lived at 84 nearly opposite Hamden st. I worked at the midland wire mill in Vincent st. Is there anyone who may know me?

Hi David Welcome to the forum we lived next door to you, or rather my grandparents did and I lived with them from time to time. I think you were somewhat older than myself so we wouldn't have mixed. You probably would have known my uncle & aunt Victor & Muriel better as they were more your age.

The last time I heard about Victor after doing his 11 year stint in the Navy he settled in north London and had some high position job in the Automobile Association, he must be well into his 80's by now or no longer with us. I also heard that Wilkie committed suicide about 10 years ago Joan, Billie (my mother) and Margaret the other sister who lived in Scotland are all dead now. Both my grandparents are also dead now they both died in the late 80's early 90's after being moved out to Warstock.
