Hello Haggie
My Gran and Grandfather ran the fish curing business for Dexter fish. When you came out from the station turn left and then right. On
the left side of that street, I would like to know the nameof that street, were two big heavy wooden blue doors. When you went through the doors along on tth right was my G Parents house. On the left was the horse stable and at the bottom of the yard was the smoke houses.
The Herrings became kippers and Crabs and Lobsters were boiled.
My GDad collected the barrels of fish from Curzon Street Station by Horse and Cart.
In the summer my GDad would take the horse to Hogehill Common to get some fresh grass.
My biological Mother went to Fox Street School.
By 1945 my G Parents and Parents were all dead.
I had fantastic new parents. I was always our Gerald.
Many thanks
Gerald.
