I caught that 56 a few times in the 60's as an electrical apprentice on Castle Bromwich Sewage Disposal . Get off at the Clock garage and such a walk down to the job

Would that have been to Minworth?

Hello Davesd
It would have been Minworth. You could drive a double decker bus through the pipes.
Best wishes
Gerald.

A Tamworth bus did run up Kingbury Road.
Have you been fishing at Coleshill today, I looked for you but did not see you. Only caught some tiddlers again.

Only thing apart from where the sewage plant was , there was a Marsh & Baxter plant nearby . Although the walk was long down Chester Road, it was quickly over when you had someone to talk to .

If  memory serves right,i think my Dad would get the 160/168 to the clock garage, cross the the road and get the 28 down to PSF.
Didn't the 166 go that way,Minworth?

He certainly did Mike , he lived in Shard end Crescent, quite near the junction with Timberley Lane.
