Against the odds, some theatre companies are staging pantos but with much reduced audiences ....... :-[

When my folks bought me a Junior Carpenter's Set for Christmas 1956 (I was 7) it was a life changing moment for me, and all around me. :-[

Anyone planning an overseas break over the festive season? If you can find a destination that welcomes you and you are able to bang yourself up for a fortnight when you get back you'll get a good deal. I'm retired so a couple of weeks of self-isolation would not be too much of a hardship, but do you know wot? I think I'll stay in the UK at least until I've had the injections.

P.S. Old Lady in Coventry today was the first person in the world to get the vaccine.

Remember your school Christmas plays? My debut public appearance was as Doppy in the Farm Street Infants School 1956 production of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, many said I was a natural for the part, I thought I was mis-cast.
