George Dixon Grammar School

Is there anyone on the Forum who attended George Dixon Grammar School in Edgbaston in around 1936 and who might have known my father, Sidney Chatfield? He has lived in South Africa for many years and would like to get in touch with anyone who might remember him!
Regards,
Ros Grimshaw (nee Chatfield)

Hi Rosie,
Welcome to the forum, sorry I wasn't around in 1936. I'm far too thick to have gone to grammar school, but stick around there may be some one able to help in your search. May I offer you my best wishes in your quest.

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the welcome and I'm sure you aren't 'thick'! It'll be great if someone does respond - Dad is now nearly 84 and often mentions the "old days" in B'ham!
