Hi bonnie,

Have you tried Blitz Kids written in 1941 by Eleanor Mordaunt, illustrated by Walter Frier. You could try Ebay, Abesbooks or Amazon.

Jasper

I think that one was first published much later in the 90's. bonnie is looking for a book that was read to her at school in the fifties. I checked it out and it is obviously out of print now and it is a very hard book the locate a copy of. I think if she does find one it will cost a bob or two.

Pity that Phil,
I know from experience how hard it is to get out of print books..

Did have another thought,  for her to ask at her Public library a copy
could be in the stacks,, or if requested an all library search could be
conducted..have found one or two that way myself and managed to
borrow them......Might cost but who knows

bonnie & Jasper

I checked ot Birmingham Library and they don't have a copy, but bonnie if you  follow this link

 http://catalogue.bl.uk/F/?func=full-set-set&set_number=035851&set_entry=000002&format=999

You will find that the British Library has a copy, you may be able to arrange a loan from them.
