Pudding and Phil, thanks again for the photo's of Great Lister Street, The pram shop you refer to was called Roadleys, on the right hand side of Great Lister Street, going towards town. Pudding it was always the number 43 bus that ran from the old square , to its terminus in Cookoo Road, Nechells, before that it was the trolley bus, I remember watching the last journey of the trolley bus in Nechells Park Road, but I cant recall the date, Yes Phil, demolition spelt the end for the small shops and areas like Great Lister Street, and all the close knit neighbours.
