So if the photo is the Turks Head it must have been taken from the corner of Oliver St.

Phil, yes more or less Oliver st and gt Lister st also I have notice than the junction pub has four chimney stacks but the Turks head only has two and the gas lamp post on the junction pub is more to the right of the building, on the Turks head the lamp post is in the center of the front of the building so now I have come to the conclusion it is the Turks head and it is a rare front shot of the pub as I always thought it was the junction pub do you agree with me Phil?

I agree that it is the Turks Head, and I'm just as sure that is Bloomsbury Library in the background just a little further down Saltley Rd. You are right it was very easy to confuse the two, but that tower in the background is what made me uncertain.

Yes there was another pub there, but I don't think the name ever made it in to Kelly's Directories. It was just a beer retailers at 146 Bloomsbury St. It most likely did have a name that it was known to the locals by. If Mikejee comes on he might be able to sort out a name. He is pretty good at that sort of thing.
