Hi Pinky

Welcome to our forum,

Underneath each reply you will see a reply number. If you search on this thread for reply numbers, 1270, 13, 311, 319, 324, 332 & 801 you will find photos related to either Vauxhall Rd or Cato St North. I would think you would find one photo at least of College Rd on the Alum Rock thread.

Hello Pinky - I'm sorry for not replying sooner,as I've only just got back from holiday.Denis and I were good friends as teenagers, and I remember his sister Pat very well, gave me the biggest rollicking I've ever had.I worked at E.N. Williams (opposite The Albion) for 5 years and remember your grandad, also Kevin,Clive and Denver Kerr.We must have met as youngsters as I hung around Cato St. North during the 50's and 60's.My friends used call me Smiffy, any bells. :)

Some time back I posted this excellent aerial photo of Nechells when it was being remodelled on another site. Jaykay who is also a member of this site as well did an overlay for the photo naming the various points of interest.

I don't think I ever got around to posting it on here, so here it is now. If it is a little small, I'm sorry but as you know we are limited to size on this forum.

Another great photo Phil don,t think I,ve seen this one no sign of Nechells Community Centre yet and the old houses are still there so I would say the middle 50s.Dek
