Eileen

As you can see both Roy and myself had problems trying to transfer your post after I posted this message on the other thread that you started,

"Eileen

I realise that you may be new to forums so you might be finding things a bit difficult, but can you try to keep your replies to a post on the same thread as the post or all you will do is confuse people. Thanks.

I will see what I can do about moving this post to the correct thread".

If you would like to repost your original message to this thread we can then remove this message and others relating to it to tidy up the thread.

Hello Eileen  -  Hope you are well,I was born just up the road from your house, same side going towards Charles Arthur St.There was a terrace just before the outdoor.Names I recall from Longacre are Sheldons,Chatwins,Jobsons,Howards,Kimberleys,Nutts,[censored],Tranters,Hawkesford,Skinners,Cartwrights and I remember the barbers by your house,he once stuck a pair of scissors into my head.My gran lived facing the terrace in one of the houses that lay back from the road. She also kept the coalyard that was just before Charles Arthur St. ;)

Hi Phil.  -  The pub Eileen mentioned was called The Wrexham because,I believe,it sold beer that was brewed in the town of Wrexham.

Hi blane

Yes I thought it might be a local name for the pub.
